A broad field of high air pressure lies over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly NW and W winds 5-15, toward the open of the Central and South Adriatic up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places around 5 km due to mist, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic possibly less than 1 km due to fog. Mostly clear or fine and fair in places, becoming cloudy in the North Adriatic in the evening.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light to moderate NW and W winds, in the open of the South Adriatic at first still up to fresh, easing all along the Adriatic. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the South Adriatic at first still up to moderate. Mist and a risk of fog in places. Fine or fair, in the North Adriatic fair or mainly cloudy.
