SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the north.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

N and NW, in places along the coast NE winds, 8-18, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic up to 24, easing in the North Adriatic to 4-10, during the night elsewhere as well to 4-14 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South and Central Adriatic today still 3-4, calming in the North Adriatic toward the end of the day to 1-2. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but moderate passing cloud increase in the North, toward the end of the day in the rest of the Adriatic as well.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mostly clear with some clouds in places. Light, in the South and Central Adriatic up to moderate N and NW, in places along the coast light NE winds. Sea smooth, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic slight. No significant change in air temperatures.
