IN THE OPEN OF THE SOUTH AND CENTRAL ADRIATIC FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT LOCAL GUSTS OF NW, IN PLACES ALONG THE COAST OF NE WINDS, 30-40 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the northeast, while a weakened frontal disturbance will be shifting north of the Adriatic eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

N and NW winds strengthening to 8-18 knots. In the extreme south of the Adriatic NE winds 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Partial clearing, but still with a little risk of light rain, mainly in the open sea.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Clearing, but in the open sea at first still with a very little risk of rain. Light to moderate, in the South and Central Adriatic up to strong N and NW winds. In places along the coast light to fresh NE winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the South and Central Adriatic up to moderate.
