A shallow low lies over the Tyrrhenian Sea, while a ridge of high pressure is expected to intensify from the north.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or NW and NE, in places of the South Adriatic SE and SW winds, 4-10 knots. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds strengthening in the afternoon to 12-24 knots. Sea 1-2, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic in the afternoon 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with a risk of light scattered rain, mainly in the South Adriatic and in the open sea. Clearing is expected in the North Adriatic and along the coast.
