SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high is spreading from the north-west towards the Adriatic while a trough of Aegean low is filling up over southern Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE and N winds 15-30, locally up to 35 knots, in the course of the day diminishing gradually to 15-25 knots, first in the North Adriatic. Sea 3-4, in the open 5-6, diminishing in the afternoon to 2-3, in the open to 3-4. Visibility more than 20 km. Mostly clear, in the open variably cloudy while far in the open sea also with a risk of a shower.
