SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal system is approaching the Adriatic from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE, in the North Adriatic and in the open sea SW winds, gradually strengthening to 12-26 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing to 3-4. Visibility 10-20, but in places reduced to around 5 km due to mist. Mostly clear, in places variably cloudy, then heavier cloud increase is expected from the west, bringing rain in places, firstly in the North Adriatic, or even isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly during the night.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to strong SE and SW, turning in the North Adriatic in the second part of the night to NW winds. Sea slight and moderate. Variably cloudy with rain or isolated rain showers with thunder.
