SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal disturbance is approaching from the northwest and it will be shifting across the Adriatic during the night further eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and SW winds 12-24, strengthening till the end of the day to 15-30 knots. Sea increasing to 3-4, in the evening to 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably or mainly cloudy and rather warm with scattered rain, particularly late in the day and during the night, when isolated rain showers and thunder are likely as well.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Near gale, in places up to gale force SE and SW winds, easing a little and turning in the North Adriatic to moderate W. Sea moderate, locally up to rough. Overcast with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, but partial clearing is expected in the extreme north.
