IN THE OPEN OF THE SOUTH ADRIATIC IN THE EVENING SEA BRIEFLY UP TO 5.

SYNOPSIS

A shallow low is shifting along the coast of the Adriatic further southeastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 12-26, in the Velebit Channel 24-38 knots. In the rest of the Adriatic SE, in the open SW winds, gradually turning to NW 12-28, along the coast to NE 8-18 knots. Winds gradually easing in the evening. Sea 3-4, in the open of the southern part in the evening briefly 4-5. Overcast with rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, along the coast of the North Adriatic with a little snow. Partial clearing is expected in the North, in the evening in the Central Adriatic as well. Air temperatures will drop.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Strong and near gale force NW and along the coast NE winds, gradually easing, and sea calming to smooth and slight. In the Velebit Channel NE winds still up to gale force at first. Variably cloudy with rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, still in the southern part in the first part of the night.
