SYNOPSIS

A weakened cold front is approaching the Adriatic from the northeast through the field of high pressure.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds strengthening to 12-28, in the Velebit Channel up to 38 knots. Sea increasing to 3-4, locally in the open possibly up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the open and in the North Adriatic fair, and in the Velebit Channel a risk of wind drifted snow.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to strong, in places up to near gale force, and in the Velebit Channel up to gale force NE winds. Sea slight and moderate, in the open sea up to rough. Mostly clear and significantly colder with some clouds locally in the open.
