A broad field of high pressure lies over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or NW winds 4-12 knots. Sea 1-2. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 5 km due to mist, possibly to less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the North Adriatic. Mostly clear, locally in the open and in the North Adriatic variably cloudy with a risk of light scattered rain or drizzle.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light NW gradually strengthening south of Istria, becoming possibly up to fresh around midday. Sea smooth, in the South and Central Adriatic increasing to slight. A risk of fog in the North Adriatic. Mostly clear, but in the North Adriatic variably cloudy, still with some drizzle in places at first.
