A field of high pressure lies over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 6-14, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic up to 20 knots. Sea 1-2, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic increasing to 2-3, toward the Strait of Otranto to 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 5 km due to mist, or possibly to less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the North Adriatic in the evening. Mostly clear with occasional cloud increase. In the northern part of the Adriatic variably cloudy with a risk of drizzle in the evening. No significant change in air temperatures.

Light NW, in the open of the South and Central Adriatic moderate, in the first part of the night up to fresh. Along the coast calm or light NE winds. Sea calm or smooth, in the open of the southern part up to slight. Mostly clear with occasional cloud increase. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy with a risk of light scattered rain or drizzle.
