A LITTLE RISK OF FOG, MAINLY IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC IN THE MORNING. IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL, IN THE EVENING AND DURING THE NIGHT IN THE REST OF THE ADRIATIC, GUSTS OF NE WINDS, EXPECTED TO REACH 35-55 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A broad field of high pressure keeps a settled weather over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW and NE winds 5-15, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic NW up to 20 knots. In the Velebit Channel, in the evening in the rest of the Adriatic as well, NE winds strengthening to 12-24 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places around 5 km due to mist, or even less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the North Adriatic in the morning. Mostly clear with some variable cloud in the North Adriatic and in the open sea.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to strong, in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to near gale force NE winds. Sea slight and moderate. Mostly clear.
