STILL A RISK OF FOG PATCHES IN THE MORNING, MAINLY IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC. IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL GUSTS OF NE WINDS UP TO 35, DURING THE NIGHT ALL ALONG THE ADRIATIC 35-50 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure has weakened a little over the Adriatic, while a ridge is expected to intensify from the northwest during the night.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly NW winds 4-14, in the Velebit Channel NE up to 18 knots. Sea 2-3, in the extreme south of the Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places around 5 km due to mist, or even less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the North Adriatic this morning. Fine or fair with more clouds and a risk of a little rain in the open sea of the Central and South Adriatic.

Wind turning all along the Adriatic to moderate and fresh NE, in places of the North and Central Adriatic up to strong. Sea smooth or slight, in the open up to moderate. Fine or fair with more clouds and a risk of a little rain in the open of the Central and South Adriatic.
