WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 6-16, toward the open sea of the South and Central Adriatic at first still up to 20 knots. Along the greater part of the coast during the night calm or NE winds 4-12, in the Velebit Channel up to 16 knots. Sea 2-3, locally in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic in the afternoon possibly 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 5 km due to mist, possibly to less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the North Adriatic during the night. Fine or fair, in the North Adriatic fair or mainly cloudy.

Fine or fair, in the open sea cloudy with a risk of light scattered rain or drizzle. A risk of mist and fog, mainly in the North Adriatic. Light to moderate NW, along the coast calm or light, in the Velebit Channel up to moderate, NE winds. Sea smooth or slight.
