A ridge of high is getting stronger from West and a low over the Aegean sea is getting weaker and shifting eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds, initially in the Velebit Channel locally NE winds, 6-16 knots, in the open sea of the South and Central Adriatic locally up to 24, diminishing at the end of the day to 4-14 knots, in the open sea of the South and Central Adriatic up to 18, during the night along the coast locally NE winds, 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic and of a part of the Central Adriatic locally 4. Visibility 10-20 km. Light to moderate cloudy, in the South Adriatic locally increase of cloudiness and a rain.
