A deep low over southern Italy is slowly filling up and shifting towards the east.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE wind 14-32, in the Velebit Channel up to 45 knots, towards the end of the day and at night gradually diminishing to 12-24, in the Velebit Channel up to 28 knots. Sea 3-4, locally in the open 5. Visibility 10-20 km. In the North Adriatic mostly clear. Elsewhere mostly cloudy, in the South Adriatic scattered rain, rain showers and thunder, mainly in the extreme south.
