SYNOPSIS

A field of raised air pressure lies over the Adriatic. A trough is expected to approach from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or variable winds, in places of the South Adriatic NW, and along the coast in the morning NE, 5-10 knots. Sea 1-2. Visibility 10-20, in places 2-4 km due to mist, possibly even less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic in the morning. Mostly clear. In the open sea and in the North Adriatic variably and mainly cloudy with a risk of a little rain in places.
