A ridge of the Azores high keeps a settled weather over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 4-12, toward the open sea of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic up to 16 knots, easing late in the day and during the night. In places along the coast NE winds 4-10 knots. Sea 1-2, toward the open of the South and Central Adriatic 2-3, gradually calming in the evening. Visibility 5-15, in places during the night possibly less than 1 km due to fog, particularly in the North and Central Adriatic. Partly or mostly clear, with more clouds in the northern part of the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light, in the South Adriatic up to moderate NW winds. In places along the coast light NE winds. Sea calm or smooth, toward the Strait of Otranto up to slight. Fine or fair, in the northern part mainly cloudy. A risk of fog in places, mainly in the North and Central Adriatic.
