SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure extends over the Adriatic from the North.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 8-18 knots. In the extreme north of the Adriatic and along the greater part of the coast this morning calm or NW winds 4-10 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20, locally this morning still 2-4 km due to mist, and in places possibly less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the North Adriatic. Mostly clear with some more clouds in the open sea.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mostly clear. Light to fresh NW winds. In places along the coast light to moderate NE winds. In the Velebit Channel light to fresh, tomorrow morning possibly up to strong NE winds. Sea smooth or slight.
