ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-45 KNOTS. IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC STILL A RISK OF GUSTS OF SE WINDS UP TO 35 KNOTS AT FIRST.

A shallow low is shifting from the Adriatic eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE, toward the open sea NW winds, 6-16, in places up to 20 and in the Velebit Channel during the night up to 24 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic SE winds 12-22, gradually diminishing to 6-16 knots and turning to NW. Sea 2-3, locally in the open possibly up to 4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers and thunder.

Light to fresh NW, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds, in the Velebit Channel up to strong. Sea smooth or slight, in the open possibly up to moderate. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers and thunder, but in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic gradual clearing.
