SYNOPSIS

A broad field of a little raised air pressure lies over the Adriatic, while some moist and unstable air is circulating in high levels.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW, in the South Adriatic at first still SW, and in places along the coast NE winds, 4-14, briefly up to 18 knots, diminishing toward the end of the day. Sea mainly 1-2, locally 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with a little rain in places or a shower with thunder, mainly in the North and in a part of the Central, and in the extreme south of the Adriatic this morning. Partial clearing from midday, but in the wider area of Rijeka still with a risk of rain.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mostly clear, but moderate cloud increase during the night and a little rain in the North Adriatic in the second part of the night, mainly toward the open sea. Calm or light variable winds. In the North Adriatic during the night and in the Central later on light, only in places up to moderate SE, along the coast E winds as well. Sea mainly smooth, locally in the North Adriatic during the night up to slight.
