A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, PARTICULARLY IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC, IN THE MORNING AND DURING THE NIGHT IN PLACES OF THE NORTH AS WELL. IN THE SOUTH ADRIATIC STILL GUSTS OF SE WINDS UP TO 35 KNOTS DURING THE FORENOON.

SYNOPSIS

A shallow field of low pressure is extending over the Adriatic and it is filling up slowly.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly SW and W winds 8-18, in the South Adriatic SE 12-25 knots, diminishing toward the end of the day and turning all along the Adriatic to NW. Sea 2-3, in the South Adriatic during the forenoon 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. In the greater part of the Adriatic partly sunny, but rain and heavier rain showers with thunder expected in the southern part. A little rain possible in the North Adriatic as well in the morning. Air temperatures with no change or a little lower.

Light to moderate NW winds. Sea smooth or slight. Variably cloudy with a risk of rain or brief showers and thunder in places, particularly in the South Adriatic.
