SYNOPSIS

A low centered over the Ligurian Sea is extending a trough with frontal disturbance over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic SW winds 6-14 knots. Elsewhere SE winds 12-22, locally in the open up to 28 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably or mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. No change in air temperatures.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic partial clearing, elsewhere still variably or mainly cloudy. Scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder, particularly in the South Adriatic. Light to moderate, in places up to fresh SE and SW winds, diminishing in the second part of the night. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic up to moderate.
