SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending towards the Adriatic from the north while a low with its centre near Sardinia is slowly shifting towards the Ligurian sea.

NE wind 6-16, still in the morning in the North Adriatic 10-20, in the Velebit Channel up to 24 knots. In the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic, till the end of the day also elsewhere SE, along the coast also E winds reinforcing to10-20 knots. Sea 2-3, still in the morning locally in the North Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy, locally in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic rain, first in the open sea. No significant change in air temperatures or a little higher ones.
