GUSTS OF NE WINDS 30-40 KNOTS, IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC, TILL THE END OF THE DAY ALSO ELSEWHERE, UP TO 60, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 80 KNOTS. IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC SEA IN PLACES 4-5.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure will intensify from the northwest. A low over the Aegean sea is extending a shallow trough towards the South Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 10-20 knots, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic, till the end of the day also elsewhere, 15-30, in the Velebit Channel up to 40. Sea increasing to 3-4, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic locally 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Light to moderate cloudy, in the South Adriatic moderate to mostly cloudy with a scattered rain in places. The air temperatures will not change significantly, or they will fall just a little bit.
