SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is slowly weakening, while a shallow trough is expected to generate over the central Mediterranean.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

W and NW winds 4-14, diminishing in the evening and turning in the North Adriatic to SE and SW 6-16 knots. Sea 1-2, in the North Adriatic in the evening gradually increasing to 2-3. Visibility above 20 km. Mostly clear and warm, but cloud increase is expected in the North Adriatic toward the end of the day and light scattered rain during the night.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

In the northern part of the Adriatic SE winds strengthening to moderate and strong, gradually spreading tomorrow morning to the Central Adriatic. Sea smooth, in the northern part slight, in the morning up to moderate. Mostly clear, but in the North Adriatic variably cloudy with light scattered rain.
