SYNOPSIS

A shallow low over the Ligurian Sea is extending a trough toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 15-25, in the North and Central Adriatic up to 30 knots. Sea 3-4, in the North and Central Adriatic today still 4-5, mainly toward the open. Visibility 10-20 km. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy with scattered rain, in the northern part with isolated rain showers and thunder. Elsewhere fine or fair. Morning air temperatures warming up, daily ones with no significant change.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to strong, in the North and Central Adriatic at first up to near gale force SE winds. In the North Adriatic in the first part of the night and in the rest of the Adriatic from the middle of the night, SE winds gradually diminishing to light to fresh, and turning in the open of the North Adriatic and along the west Istrian coast to light to moderate S and SW. Sea slight and moderate, in the North and Central Adriatic still up to rough at first.
