SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure is slowly weakening over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and SW, in the open of the South Adriatic NW winds, 4-14 knots. During the night mainly calm or variable winds 4-8, west of Istria SW 6-16 knots. Sea 1-2, only in the first part of the night west of Istria 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 4 km due to mist, or even to less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the North Adriatic during the night. Mostly clear.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mostly clear, but in the North Adriatic in the morning fair and a little risk of scattered rain, mainly in the open sea. A risk of mist or fog, mainly in the north of the Adriatic. Calm or light variable winds, only at first west of Istria light to moderate SW winds. Sea calm or smooth, west of Istria at first still up to slight. No significant change in air temperatures.
