A VERY LITTLE RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the northeast, while some moist and unstable air is still circulating in high levels.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 4-14, in the Velebit Channel up to 18, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic NW 6-16, gradually diminishing and turning along the coast in the afternoon to mainly SW 4-12 knots. Sea 1-2, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic during the day 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate increase of daily cloudiness and a little risk of isolated rain showers with thunder. No significant change in air temperatures.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mostly clear, but gradual cloud increase is expected in the North Adriatic in the second part of the night. Light, at first still up to moderate SW, in the southern part NW winds as well, diminishing and dying away. During the night in the North and till the morning in a part of the Central Adriatic, light to moderate SE winds. Sea smooth, increasing in the North Adriatic from the middle of the night to slight.
