SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure from the north is gradually intensifying over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW, in the North Adriatic NE winds as well, 6-16, in places up to 20 knots. In the North Adriatic late in the day NE winds strengthening to 12-24 knots and spreading to a part of the Central Adriatic. Sea 2-3, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic from the end of the day possibly up to 4. Visibility 10-20 km. Fine or fair with some more clouds in places and with a little risk of isolated rain showers with thunder.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mostly clear, but still with some variable amounts of cloud and with a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly along the coast around midday. Moderate NE winds, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to strong, spreading during the night to the rest of the Adriatic. Sea slight, somewhere possibly up to moderate.
