LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY THROUGH THE DAY. IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC TOWARD THE END OF THE DAY A RISK OF GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-45 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure from the north is gradually intensifying over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

N and NW winds 6-16, in the open in the afternoon up to 20 knots. In the North Adriatic from midday and in a part of the Central toward the end of the day wind turning to NE 12-22 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder, but partial clearing is expected from midday. Morning air temperatures a little lower, daily ones with no change or a little higher.

Mostly clear. Light to moderate, locally in the open at first still up to fresh NW winds. Moderate, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to strong NE winds, spreading to the rest of the Adriatic till the morning. Sea mainly slight.
