SYNOPSIS

A field of lowered air pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a frontal disturbance is approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and SW winds 8-16, in the extreme south and in the southern part of the Central Adriatic up to 20 knots, diminishing late in the afternoon. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic in the afternoon NW winds 8-16 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 4 km due to rain. Variably or mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Air temperatures will drop.

Variably or mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, in places even more abundant. Light to moderate NW, in the South Adriatic at first SE and SW winds, turning in the second part of the night to NW. Sea smooth or slight.
