In the night and morning in the Velebit Channel local gusts of NE winds, 35-40 knots. A risk of thunderstorms in the South Adriatic, in the afternoon and evening also along the coast.
SYNOPSIS
A ridge of high is extending from Northeast and a shallow trough from Southeast towards the Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NW and SW winds, 6-14 knots. In the evening along the coast calm, or NE winds, in the open sea NW winds, 4-10 knots. In the Velebit Channel NE winds, 8-18 knots, in the evening increasing again up to 22. Sea 2, in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme South 3. Visibility 10-20 km, in the open sea reduced to 4-10 km due to mist. Mostly clear, in the South Adriatic, late in the afternoon and in the evening along the coast of the other parts, variably cloudy, locally a risk of brief thunder showers.
