In the Velebit Channel, during the morning also in the extreme South, local gusts of NE winds, 35-40 knots. In the second part of the day along the coast and in the South Adriatic all day long a risk of thunderstorms.
SYNOPSIS
A ridge of high is extending from Northeast and a shallow trough from Southeast towards the Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
During the morning NE winds, 4-14 knots, in the South Adriatic up to 20, later NW and SW winds, 6-14 knots. In the Velebit Channel NE winds, 8-18 knots,, periodically up to 22. Sea 1-2, in the Velebit Channel and in the South Adriatic 3. Visibility 10-20 km, in the open sea reduced to 4-10 km due to mist. Mostly clear, in the South Adriatic, in the afternoon along the coast of the other parts, variably cloudy, locally a risk of brief thunder showers. The air temperature will not change significantly.
