IN THE BEGINNING AND AGAIN AT NIGHT ONLY IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC AND IN THE VELEBIT CAHNNEL LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WIND 35-40 KNOTS. IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC STILL IN THE FIRST PART OF THE AFTERNOON A RISK OF A LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high is intensifying from the north-west while a shallow trough and frontal system are shifting over the South Adriatic towards the east.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE wind diminishing, then turning to NW wind 10-20 knots. In the evening again NE wind 6-16, only in some places in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 22 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 20-30 km. Mostly clear, only in the beginning in the extreme south of the Adriatic variably cloudy with a risk of a shower with thunder. Mainly a little lower air temperatures.
