SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending from the north toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NW winds, 6-16, during the night NE 4-10 knots. Elsewhere NW winds, along the coast during the night NE, 8-18, in places up to 24 knots. Sea in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic 3-4, elsewhere 2-3, in the North Adriatic during the night 1-2. Visibility 20-30 km. Mostly clear.

Mostly clear or fine and fair. In the morning and in the evening light to moderate, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to strong NE, around midday moderate, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to near gale NW winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic up to moderate. Air temperatures with no change or warming up a little.
