A weakened frontal system is shifting across the Adriatic eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 15-25, in the Velebit Channel up to 34 knots, diminishing in the afternoon. Elsewhere SE winds 10-18, diminishing and turning in the open of the Central Adriatic to NW 10-18 knots. Sea 2-3, in the North Adriatic 3-4, gradually calming in the afternoon. Visibility 15-25 km. Variably or mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Partial clearing is expected in the North Adriatic in the afternoon. Cooler.
