LATE IN THE DAY IN THE OPEN OF THE SOUTH, TOMORROW AROUND MIDDAY IN THE OPEN OF THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH ADRIATIC, GUSTS OF NW WINDS 35-40 KNOTS. STILL LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS TODAY.

SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal disturbance is slowly shifting across the Adriatic southeastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in the greater part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 12-26 knots. Along the coast of the rest of the Adriatic NE winds 5-15, and in the open sea NW 8-18, briefly strengthening in the South Adriatic late in the day to 12-26 knots. Sea 2-3, locally in the open up to 4. Visibility 10-30 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, then gradual clearing in the North and Central Adriatic during the night.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Gradual clearing in the South Adriatic as well. Moderate to strong NE winds, diminishing in the morning and turning around midday to moderate, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic up to strong NW winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic around midday up to moderate. Cooler during the night and in the morning, but daily air temperatures warming up a little.
