SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal disturbance is slowly shifting across the Adriatic southeastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in the greater part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 12-26 knots. Along the coast of the rest of the Adriatic NE winds 5-15, and in the open sea NW 8-18, briefly strengthening late in the day to 12-26 knots. Sea in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic, late in the day in the open of the South Adriatic as well, 3-4, elsewhere 2-3. Visibility 10-30 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Air temperatures a little lower.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

In the North and Central Adriatic partial clearing, in the South fair or mainly cloudy with scattered rain and thunder. Moderate, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to strong NE, in the open of the South Adriatic up to strong NW winds, gradually diminishing during the night. Sea smooth or slight, in the open up to moderate.
