SYNOPSIS

A weakened frontal disturbance will be shifting across the Adriatic, while a ridge of high pressure will be intensifying from the northwest later on.

NW winds 6-16, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic late in the day and during the night NE 12-26, in the Velebit Channel up to 34 knots. Sea 2-3, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic during the night 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, firstly in the North Adriatic.

Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Moderate to strong, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force NE, in the South Adriatic light to moderate NW, and in places along the coast SE winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the northern part of the Central Adriatic up to moderate.
