A LITTLE RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ALONG THE COAST OF THE SOUTH AND OF A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC IN THE AFTERNOON. IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL, DURING THE NIGHT ELSEWHERE AS WELL, A RISK OF GUSTS OF NE WINDS 30-40 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending from the northeast toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW, in places along the coast at first still NE winds, 4-14, in the extreme south of the Adriatic late in the day up to 18 knots. In the Velebit Channel, during the night elsewhere as well, NE winds 6-16, in places up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but along the coast of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic in the afternoon moderate cloud increase and a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.

Mostly clear. Light to moderate, in places up to fresh NE winds, diminishing in the morning. Sea smooth or slight. No significant change in air temperatures.
