SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal disturbance has approached the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds strengthening to 16-32, turning in the North Adriatic to NE 12-26 knots. Sea 3-4, in the South and Central Adriatic possibly up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably or mainly cloudy, in the North Adriatic with rain, showers and thunder, possibly in the rest of the Adriatic as well, mainly along the coast. Air temperatures with no significant change, only in the North Adriatic a little lower due to NE winds.

Variably or mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder in the North, possibly in the rest of the Adriatic, mainly along the coast. Strong, in places up to near gale force SE, in the North Adriatic moderate to strong NE winds, gradually diminishing during the forenoon to light to fresh. Sea slight and moderate, in the South and Central Adriatic up to rough.
