A field of mean or a little raised air pressure lies over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE, in the open sea NW winds, 6-16, in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 22, diminishing in the morning and turning around midday in the North, the Central and in a part of the South Adriatic to SW winds 4-12 knots. Sea in the morning 2-3, in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic 3-4, but in the greater part of the Adriatic from midday 1-2. Visibility 10-30 km. Mostly clear, but gradual cloud increase is expected in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic in the afternoon, and elsewhere in the evening. Air temperatures a little lower.

Fair. Calm or light, in the extreme south of the Adriatic at first up to moderate NE and NW winds. Sea calm or smooth, in the extreme south of the Adriatic at first smooth or slight.
