IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC IN THE SECOND PART OF THE NIGHT GUSTS OF SE WINDS STRENGTHENING TO 35-40 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A trough is slowly shifting across the Adriatic eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and SW winds 8-18, diminishing around midday to 4-10, but late in the day SE winds strengthening again to 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3, calming around midday to 1-2. Visibility 10-20, in places in the morning reduced to 4-10 km due to rain. Overcast with scattered rain, around midday end of precipitation and partial clearing in the afternoon. No significant change in air temperatures.

Fine or fair. Light to moderate, in the North Adriatic in the second part of the night up to strong SE winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the North Adriatic in the second part of the night increasing to slight and moderate.
