SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal system is slowly approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE, in the North Adriatic also SW winds, 4-14 knots, gradually strengthening to 10-20, in the North and Central Adriatic up to 26 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Moderate to mainly cloudy, in the North scattered rain, mainly in the area of Rijeka, during the night rainy also in the other parts of the North Adriatic and in a part of the Central Adriatic.

Cloudy with rain. Light to fresh SE, in the North Adriatic also SW winds, diminishing. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic winds will be up to strong at first. Sea smooth or slight, in the beginning locally up to moderate.
