SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure has briefly intensified, but a weakened frontal disturbance is expected to be shifting across the Adriatic during the night and in the morning.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW and NE winds 8-18, diminishing in the evening to 4-12 knots. Sea 2-3, in the evening, and in the North Adriatic already in the afternoon, calming to 1-2. Mostly clear, but gradual cloud increase is expected in the evening.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light NE and NW winds turning in the morning to SE and SW. Sea calm or smooth. Variably cloudy with a risk of light scattered rain, firstly in the open sea. No significant change in air temperatures.
