STILL A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS AND OF GUSTS OF SE WINDS 30-40 KNOTS IN THE SOUTH ADRIATIC AT FIRST. FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 30-40, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 60 KNOTS, DIMINISHING TOMORROW.

SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal disturbance is shifting across the Adriatic further southeastwards, while a ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 4-8, in the South Adriatic up to 14, in the extreme south up to 22, diminishing and turning to NW 4-14 knots. In the North Adriatic during the night NE winds strengthening to 12-26 knots. Sea 2-3, in the extreme south of the Adriatic at first 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, in the South Adriatic with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.
