A ridge of high pressure is extending from the east toward the Adriatic, while shallow low is deepening over the western Mediterranean.

SE winds 8-18, strengthening to 12-24 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Fair or mainly cloudy.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Fair or mainly cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly along the coast. In the North Adriatic light to moderate, in the Bay of Kvarneriæ up to fresh, elsewhere moderate to strong, SE winds. Sea slight and moderate.
