IN THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF N and NW, ALONG THE COAST IN THE MORNING OF NE WINDS, 30-40 KNOTS, GRADUALLY DIMINISHING THROUGH THE NIGHT.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending from north western Europe toward the Adriatic, and keeps a settled weather.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic NE, turning in the afternoon to NW winds, 6-16, south of Istria up to 20 knots. In the Central and South Adriatic N and NW, along the coast in the morning still NE winds, 6-16, only in places up to 20, but strengthening in the afternoon to 12-22, in places up to 26 knots, mainly in the open. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South and of the greater part of the Central Adriatic, up to 4. Visibility above 20 km. Mostly clear. Air temperatures with no change or a little higher in places.

Mostly clear. Light to moderate, in the Central and South Adriatic moderate to fresh, in places at first still up to strong N and NW winds, diminishing a little through the night. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the South and Central Adriatic in the first part of the night possibly up to moderate.
