SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the north, while a trough with frontal disturbance is shifting across the South Adriatic southeastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 12-26, in the Velebit Channel at first still up to 32, turning in the South and Central Adriatic to NW 10-20 knots. Sea 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Clearing, but in the open of the South and Central Adriatic still variably cloudy with a risk of scattered rain in the south of the Adriatic at first.
